Indiana’s complete non-conference schedule for the 2019-20 season is typically not released until August, but the list of opponents for the Hoosiers is beginning to take shape.

Per an open records request obtained by Inside the Hall, Indiana will host Portland State on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

The contract was signed by Portland State on June 11 and by Indiana on June 19.

Indiana will pay Portland State $90,000 to come to Bloomington, which is a typical arrangement for “buy” or “guarantee” games in college basketball which do not include a return date for the opponent.

Other known dates on the 2019-20 non-conference schedule include Florida State at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall (Dec. 3), UConn at Madison Square Garden (Dec. 10) and Notre Dame at Bankers Life Fieldhouse (Dec. 21).

In addition, Indiana will host Arkansas and Princeton (per a report from Mike Pegram) at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Portland State, a member of the Big Sky Conference, finished last season 16-16.
