Jackson-Davis set to lead Indiana All-Stars against Juniors, Kentucky All-Stars

After earning a split the last two years, Indiana will look to reassert its dominance over the Kentucky All-Stars when the annual series between the two states tips off early next month.

And a pair of future Hoosiers will be at the forefront of the effort.

2019 Indiana Mr. Basketball Trayce Jackson-Davis and Armaan Franklin, both IU signees, are among the 15 players who were named to the Indiana All-Star team in early April.

Jackson-Davis was named the state’s Mr. Basketball earlier this month. The signing of Romeo Langford and Jackson-Davis in consecutive years marks the first time that the Hoosiers have landed Indiana’s Mr. Basketball in back-to-back years since 1997 (Luke Recker) and 1998 (Tom Coverdale).

Indiana and Kentucky will play their annual series on Friday, June 7 at Bellarmine University and on Saturday, June 8 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Prior to those meetings, the Indiana All-Stars will play the Indiana Junior All-Stars on Wednesday, June 5 at New Castle.

In addition, the Indiana Junior All-Stars will play the Kentucky Junior All-Stars on Sunday, June 2 at Mercy Academy in Louisville and on Monday, June 3 at Jeffersonville.
