This year’s FORUM Tipoff Classic brings another slate of high level and competitive Indiana high school basketball games to the southside of Indianapolis.

All six games will take place at Southport High School in Indianapolis this Saturday, Dec. 8.

The schedule is headlined by two five-stars going head to head, when IU commit Trayce Jackson-Davis and Center Grove (4-0) face off against IU target Keion Brooks Jr. and La Lumiere (7-0) at 8:30 p.m.

Jackson-Davis announced his commitment to the Hoosiers last week and is considered the favorite for the 2019 Mr. Basketball award in Indiana.

Brooks, who transferred from Fort Wayne North Side to La Lumiere for his senior season, narrowed his recruitment to six schools in September: IU, Kentucky, Purdue, UCLA, North Carolina and Michigan State.

La Lumiere also features top in-state recruit Isaiah Stewart, who has taken visits at Duke, Syracuse, Washington, Michigan State and Kentucky.

Center Grove picked up a big win last weekend over Cathedral (2-1), who plays in the preceding game against Zionsville (1-1) at 6:40 p.m. Cathedral, who fell to Center Grove last weekend, features three-star IU commit Armaan Franklin.

Zionsville is headlined by three-star Purdue commit Isaiah Thompson.

The hosts, Southport (2-1), open things up at noon as the Cardinals take on Frankton (2-2). Following that game, Carmel (3-0) squares off with Jeffersonville (2-0) at 1:40 p.m. Jeffersonville stars junior forward Tre Coleman, who has an offer from Nebraska. Carmel is led by Butler commit John-Michael Mulloy.

At 3:20 p.m., Brownsburg (2-2) takes on New Castle (1-2). Brownsburg sophomore guard Pierce Thomas is generating some interest and could conceivably pick up offers as he continues to develop.

Then, at 5 p.m., Hamilton Southeastern (4-0) faces Culver Academies (2-0). HSE is led by Toldeo commit Aaron Etherington, while Culver is led by junior guard Trey Galloway, who 247Sports Composite ranks as the No. 2 recruit in the state for the class of 2020. Galloway has offers from Purdue, Iowa, Michigan State, Butler and Nebraska.

Tickets for the event are available online, and tickets will also be available at the door all day.
