Class of 2019 Center Grove forward Trayce Jackson-Davis now has a top six in his recruitment.

Jackson-Davis, the No. 16 player nationally according to the 247Composite, announced a top six of Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Purdue, Wake Forest and UCLA on Sunday afternoon.

In addition, Jackson-Davis also has visit dates set, according to Corey Evans of Rivals.com.

Jackson-Davis will take official visits to UCLA (August 31), Iowa (September 7), Wake Forest (September 21), Indiana (September 28) and Michigan State (October 5). He will take an unofficial visit to Purdue on November 3.

The 6-foot-8 forward is coming off a successful summer in which he won a gold medal with Team USA in the FIBA U18 Americas championships and also helped lead Spiece Indy Heat to a Peach Jam berth on the EYBL circuit.

The official visit to Bloomington will be for Hoosier Hysteria weekend, which Jackson-Davis has had in the works for more than a month.

In late June at Indiana’s team camp, Jackson-Davis said that the IU staff has made him feel like a priority.

“They’ve definitely been recruiting me the hardest … some other schools have also, but coach O (Tom Ostrom) calls almost every day,” Jackson-Davis explained. “They’re definitely there. They’re recruiting me hard and I appreciate that.”

Jackson-Davis has also said that he already knows the factors that will weight most heavily when he makes his decision.

“Definitely the players that are coming in,” he said in late June. “The relationship with the head coach, the feeling of the atmosphere. I know that when I make my decision, it will be the right choice.”
