Final Four, national championship odds updated for 2018-19 season

We’re still more than three months away from the 2018-19 college basketball season tipping off, but the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook and Bovada are already updating their Final Four and national championship odds.

The Westgate posted Final Four odds for almost 200 teams on Monday, including all 14 Big Ten programs.

Here’s a complete listing of current Final Four odds for Big Ten programs for next season, according to the Westgate:

– Michigan State (+450)
– Michigan (+700)
– Indiana (+1000)
– Purdue (+1200)
– Ohio State (+2000)
– Maryland (+2500)
– Penn State (+2500)
– Wisconsin (+2500)
– Illinois (+5000)
– Minnesota (+5000)
– Northwestern (+7500)
– Iowa (+7500)
– Nebraska (+7500)
– Rutgers (+10000)

The teams with the highest odds to reach the Final Four next season, according to the Westgate, are Duke (+125), Kansas (+125), Kentucky (+125), Gonzaga (+175), North Carolina (+450) and Virginia (+450). Defending national champion Villanova is listed at +700.

Bovada, meanwhile, released updated national championship odds on Tuesday. Here are their current odds for the eight Big Ten teams listed by Bovada to win the 2019 national championship:

– Indiana (38/1)
– Purdue (66/1)
– Maryland (80/1)
– Ohio State (80/1)
– Penn State (90/1)
– Wisconsin (90/1)

The 10 teams with the highest odds to win the championship next season, according to Bovada, are Kentucky (6/1), Duke (13/2), Kansas (8/1), Villanova (17/2), Gonzaga (19/2), Nevada (10/1), North Carolina (14/1), Virginia (18/1), Tennessee (28/1) and Oregon (30/1).

Practice for the 2018-19 college basketball season begins on Tuesday, September 25 and the first games will be played on Tuesday, November 6.
