WESTFIELD, Ind. – Class of 2019 La Lumiere and Albany City Rocks big man Isaiah Stewart visited Indiana last season for the Purdue game and is close with former Hoosier standout Thomas Bryant. Stewart is also an elite prospect nationally as he’s ranked No. 14 in the latest 247Composite.

Inside the Hall caught up with Stewart last weekend in Indianapolis to get his thoughts on his play on the EYBL circuit so far, the IU program, the schools most involved in his recruitment and more. Watch the full interview below:

I think I will wait to be excited about him until he trims his list down considerably and IU is still on it.

  • Ms hoosier

I really don’t think we will get him

  • Koko

    I agree.

  • Ms hoosier

Even without him I think Archie will get a top class for 2019.

We have a high chance of landing TJD, which also means almost 0 chance with Stewart, which is fine.

    Dude is a dump truck.

It’s a little too early to worry about what teams were listed in what order. I like this kid’s confidence and poise. It’s obvious he was listening when Archie and TBryant were talking. Would love to have this guy!

Agreed. 247 isn’t even showing us in consideration. They show 90% Duke/10% Texas for his crystal ball predictions right now. Yes, he plays at La Lumiere, but he’s a northeast kid from Rochester, NY. I’m not holding my breath on this one.

    And 2020 and 2021 and…

Did anyone else notice how the first three – Duke, Syracuse, Louisville – just rolled off his tongue, but he hesitated and had to think about the rest of the list? And, Duke was first on his mind, so that’s consistent with 247 crystal ball 90%. We’re not getting this kid.

  • for whom the balls roll

The way his face lit up when Thomas Bryant was mentioned, for that alone I want to go after this kid.

  • for whom the balls roll

Thomas Bryant is one of my all-time favorites.

  • marcusgresham

We weren’t getting Langford either. There’s still time.
