Class of 2018 IU signee Damezi Anderson finished with 23 points and eight rebounds in Saturday’s Forum Tip-off Classic at Southport as South Bend Riley beat Pickerington North 81-75 in overtime.

Good looking player!! He can catch and shoot really quick and moves really good without the ball to get his shot!! Excited to have Damezi!!

Twice DA took a slight “pause” in his dribble and then continued past his defender. We could use more of this “pause” along with shoot fakes on the team. Looks like he moves well without the ball.

A future shooting guard??? Sounds like the position that Archie wants Anderson to play. If we are un able to get Romeo Langford, can IU do without? I believe we can.

That’s John Beilein just above gray #20 in the picture before you start the video. Saw Bryce Drew there with his father, Homer, and Painter was there, also. Lots of good HS basketball in one place.

Really like him coming off that screen at the top of the key and being ready to shoot. I agree that Archie might be thinking of DA as a guard.
