Five-star New Albany guard Romeo Langford trims list to seven

  • Aug 28, 2017

Five-star class of 2018 New Albany guard Romeo Langford has narrowed his list to seven schools.

Langford’s father, Tim, confirmed to Inside the Hall that his son is considering Kentucky, Louisville, Indiana, UCLA, Kansas, Vanderbilt and North Carolina.

The news was first reported by Brian Snow of Scout.com.

Langford is the No. 5 prospect nationally, according to the 247Composite. In July, he spoke to Inside the Hall at the All-In Hoopfest in Louisville about IU’s recruiting pitch.

“(It’s) just the legacy I would have at Indiana because I’m from Indiana,” he explained. “If I go to Indiana, everybody is going to love me.”

The 6-foot-5 guard isn’t expected to make a decision until next spring.

Indiana has three players – Jerome Hunter, Damezi Anderson and Robert Phinisee – already committed for the class of 2018.
