Class of 2017 Hatboro-Horsham (Pa.) forward Clifton Moore, who signed a National Letter of Intent with Indiana last fall, is still undecided as to whether he will come to Bloomington.

Moore asked for a release from his National Letter of Intent after Tom Crean was fired last month, but met with new coach Archie Miller on Sunday.

Based on his comments to reporters at Friday’s Jordan Brand regional classic at the Barclays Center, it sounds like Moore is seriously considering sticking with Indiana (Zagsblog link):

“I’m focused on making the best decision but Indiana looks pretty good, the way I fit in the system. The recruits, I already know them, too. We run the same stuff. He told me where he was going to put me, transition, all that stuff.”

“We’re on good terms. I need to call him one more time [this weekend] because the due date is Monday for the release because I asked for it 30 days ago so I’m going to try to make a decision.”

Moore scored 11 points as the Blue team fell to the Red, 170-162, in the Jordan Brand regional classic.

Indiana’s two other class of 2017 signees – Al Durham Jr. and Justin Smith – have already reaffirmed their commitments to Miller and are planning to arrive on campus in June.

Moore, a 6-foot-10 forward, is rated the No. 140 prospect nationally by the 247Composite.
