Podcast on the Brink is back for a new episode with host Jerod Morris of The Assembly Call. The show is currently available weekly. You can access a full archive of episodes here.

In this week’s edition of the show, Morris and Inside the Hall editor Alex Bozich are joined by Jake Brown, who covers Notre Dame for Irish Illustrated.

Among the topics discussed by the trio:

· How important Saturday’s game is for both teams
· What’s behind the defensive struggles for the Fighting Irish
· Individual matchups to watch for including Zach Auguste vs. Thomas Bryant
· The impact of rebounding and why it could decide the game
· The importance of the Crossroads Classic for Notre Dame and IU from a recruiting perspective

And plenty more. As always, feel free to drop the show a note at [email protected].

The pg battle will be great. Hopefully IU can win the backcourt battle because I think they will need to in order to win. TB will earn his scholly if he can shut down Auguste. I think IU has more talent and depth, and hopefully they can get some of ND’s roster in foul trouble early. If we give up perimeter drives and rebounds we will lose, like every other game this year these two things are huge defensively. I could also see us beat ourselves with too many turnovers, even though ND doesn’t force many. It should be a fun game to watch, we need to beat this ND team badly. Go Hoosiers!

If the good IU team shows up we beat them by 15.

i now know way more than i ever thought i would about ndbb, but that’s ok. interesting thoughts on the crossroads classic, the match-ups are indeed going to be really good this season. would love to see butler take out PUke. no idea what to expect from our guys. nothing would surprise me, but the skeptic in me is thinking there won’t be any major improvements on defense or turnovers. i sure hope they prove me wrong. i’m so ready to have something to feel positive about with this team, cause there ain’t been nothing so far.
