    I want, I want, I need, I need!

It would be awful tempting to graduate HS at mid-year..come to the states..get a pro-oriented coach and work out for the next draft. Since he can go right to the pro’s..and has that 6 month/one year window to prepare..why not? I know his dad mention’s college.. and if he goes that route..might was well be IU..altho not sure how a one and done helps us toward a championship unless he’s the “missing piece.” We’ll still have a VERY young team at that point.

Consider this kid the thing I want the most for our Hoosiers. Like a lot.

I think he would fit in great. We’ll have some upper classmen at that point who have had quality playing time (hopefully not just Yogi) and this Freshmen class will have a season under their belt.

It sure does not look like he will be in any college program long…that said, I’ll take him!

Imagine what Coach Jackson could do for this kids body…. Imagine what Cook hall could do for his jumper….. think about it Dante.

How would you describe his game in one or two words? “Smooth” is what came to mind while I was watching the video. This young man would be a great addition to the IU team.

I find i intereting the number of comments that talk about every recruit being a one and one. These are same peope who said Cody and potentially 3 of last years recruits (Hanner, Yogi, Hollowell) would all be one and done. You go get the best talent that fits your need and let the chips fall where they may. Over 400 players transfered schools this year, it is not bad to have kids transfer or leave for the NBA after 1,2 or 3 years. I am elated that we have kids the caliber of Dante that have IU in their consderation set. If Crean and Jackson continue to build their player development reputation, Assembly Hall will be a coveted place to play

This kid is the ‘must have’ recruit for the 2014 class. I don’t care who else we do / don’t get, we can’t let him get away. Big time talent, and seems to have a solid head on his shoulders.

  • Jason Wright

He reminds me of Reggie Miller

  • Kelin Blab

I will say it cause no one else will admit it….his game is similar to one VJ3

    I agree, I agree !

If this kid doesn’t take the straight to the draft route really hope he ends up at IU. Have liked this one since the first time I seen him. Instant impact player IMHO. How much of an impact is debatable but I’d say very noticeable at minimum.
