Never like to see them lose, hope this learning experience will help them. If their rebounding on the does not get alot better it will an extremely disappointing bigten season. Watford did’nt seem to have his head in the game. We need someone who can truly play power forward and not get pushed around. Butler is a good team but not a top ten, they where outplayed in just about every aspect of the game, very disappoined!!

  • tom crean always seems to give the other team way to much credit in these press conferences rather then just looking at himself and saying i didnt coach well enough and our players didnt play well enough. IU simply beat themselves, when you watch the game there were so many opportunities to close the deal but they could not finish.

Coach got a little testy on the question regarding Zeller and Watford being on bench at the end of the game. Sorry, but fair question. No way you can justify leaving Hulls in the game in that situation. I’m sure Brad Stevens told his guys to take Hulls one on one if he came out on the floor after that TO.

  • Is it just me or does Coach always give Dustin a hard time in the press conference ?

Worried about switching and the high screen? You have a 7 foot guy that is super quick. Protect the rim coach… I’m not a coach but my thoughts are, if Cody would have been in the game he would have spiked that little jumper off his forehead…

Dustin is a great guy and a fair journalist. Giving him a hard time not a shining moment for Coach. Not at all.

Unbelievable loss. We had no defense.

  • I agree, crean going after dustin here is pathetic.

I think he has to give credit where its due..Butler played tougher and better. If he focuses on how his team didn’t play well..he doesn’t give the respect the Butler effort was due and is open to criticism there. Does he go overboard sometimes..yes..but this week we’ll also hear how each of the next three cupcakes are “well coached..and present a real challenge for us in some areas.” All kinda “coach speak”.
