  • Remy Willing and Abell

    Love that guy

  • iuball11

Anyone else just a tad bit concerned after that tweet from CTC?

  • BTownJosh

    What did it even say?

  • iuball11

“I am doing great. I have been thinking about you alot since last weekend. A whole lot. How are you doing?”

  • HoosierTrav

Absolutely not! Not sure why this is a big deal. I wouldn’t think too much into it. I’m sure it will be blown up though. Haters gonna hate regardless.

The only thing harder than waiting for the next season to get under way is trying to find anything, and I mean anything, to complain about when it comes to this young man.

Even if you do leave after next year (and if you don’t I will still feel the same way if you are concerned lol), I want to send out the biggest thank you possible for everything that you have done and will do for IU bball Mr. Zeller. You have been, and I strongly suspect always will be, a true Hoosier.

No, I’m pretty sure it was meant for Austin Conway (2014 PG from Aurora, CO). If that is the case I can totally understand why he was “thinking” about him “a lot.”

  • jahhoosier

Really? You can’t find anything to complain about with Cody?

I guess you didn’t notice how incredibly crooked the picture frame behind him was, the one at the bottom right.

I, on the other hand, could hardly look at anything but. I mean, that thing’s got to be pushing 10 degrees off-axis. And the whole time, all I could think was, “Yep, a picture really does say a thousand words.” And in this case, the picture was saying, “Any young man who is willing to let me be crooked in the
background of his interview absolutely must, for the good of his own
development, stay at least three years, and probably four years, before jumping
to the NBA,” 250 times in a row, which equals exactly 1000 words (thankfully, the pictures in Cook Hall are very fit and do not tire easily).

Though I might have been reaching just a bit.

I suppose a fourth year might not be necessary, if he can graduate in three.

  • ^^so much win.

  • iuball11

How do you know it was for Austin Conway?

  • Devout Hoosier

I love how humble he is. On the court too. Cody will quietly take all the crap opponents throw out and when the clock runs out, his team has the highest score.

He’s been punched in the nuts. He’s been shoved to the floor at half court. He doesn’t retaliate, he just plays better basketball than everyone else.

  • iufan4life10

Not 100% sure but there was a tweet shortly after that said something like “that was meant to be a DM to a new recruit, wish I could tell you who it was.” I believe IU just offered Austin last week.
