Wow. Dude is a smooth operator. One of the more impressive highlight packages I’ve seen, especially considering it wasn’t all about dunks. How about the friendly bounce on the 3 pointer around the 20 second mark? And I loved the blocks, keeping them in bounds and all. Rarely does a highlight package actually get me more excited about a guy, but this definitely did it.

Sorry for this pun, but he’s got a ‘Melo’ vibe about his game. The compression sleeve, his relative ease against AAU defense, and the variety of scoring methods he possesses remind me of Carmelo a bit.

  • All those and-ones reminded me of IU’s defense…

Almost looks like he’s not trying. Like he’s chillin’, laid-back. Seems it’s just his style. It’s very deceptive and effective. He definitely has some moves.

The more I see these videos the “betterer” it gets. That’s more than”gooder.”

Leave it to a Purdue PHD to use “defense” and IU in the same sentence …………….. amazing

I made the same comment a couple of days ago…I completely agree with that comparison. I think if he works on his mid-range game, becomes more reliable at the three point stripe (already good) and becomes more aggressive going to the basket he will be great at IU.

He is deceptively strong and athletic like Carmelo. Similar body-type, etc.

  • Just because something is ineffective does not mean that it ceases to exist. Maybe I should’ve said, “All those and-ones reminds me of IU’s horrifically pathetic defense.”

Jeremy Hollowell is very good at basketball.

his previous highlight videos were woefully inadequate.

There is one high school player in the United States that uses his left hand regularly. His name is Yogi Ferrell.

Consider the first 2 months on any college campus “The Left Hand Dribble Clinic 101”

  • nice comparison – hollowel plays better D…how can we get him to graduate a year early with Yogi? Maybe he can take some courses this summer and send the assignments to Phd purdue and Jerry….oh yes if that was the case he would be headed to pUKe..

Without a doubt. I can’t tell if it was the highlight videos or the fact that I know he’s coming here now, but I’m much much much more excited for him today than I was 2-3 weeks ago.

Darius Morris at Michigan hasn’t needed a left hand to become one of the better point guards in the country. He might as well donate that thing to someone who could use it.

I have body parts that fit this description ………. like my left knee

Jay Edwards smooth. Long, lean, sneaky athletic. Those that say he isn’t trying need to look closer, he is usually out in front of everybody else and going past people like they are standing still. Gonna be a great one.

I remember watching Edwards and wondering when I was going to see him yawning while taking a shot. Very laid back. Very excited about JH ! GO HOOSIERS!
