SEYMOUR — Park Tudor is going back to Conseco Fieldhouse for another shot at a state championship.

For the second consecutive year, Park Tudor knocked off Forest Park in the Class 2A Semi-state title game at the Lloyd E. Scott Gymnasium in front of more than 8,000 fans.

But unlike last season, the Panthers didn’t need four overtimes to knock off the Rangers, who came into the game 25-0.

Park Tudor junior and IU commitment Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell led all scorers with 25 points and dished out seven assists in a 57-45 victory.

Ferrell did a little bit of everything in the win — he knocked down 3’s and pull up jump shots, penetrated and got to the foul line and found open teammates on the perimeter as Park Tudor exploited Forest Park’s 2-3 zone.
