This week, Zach and Alex are joined by 2011 IU signee and Hamilton Heights senior Austin Etherington.

Among the topics chiefly discussed: Austin’s season to-date at Hamilton Heights and his thoughts on the upcoming state tournament, IU’s recruiting success, the evolution of his game over the past couple of years, the Cody Zeller decision and much more.

  • What is it about an Indiana player that you can tell it just looking at them? Written all over that boy

  • Also, I don’t see the iTunes podcast there for this week…..

Is there a way you can get rid of the pop up ads on this site? I never really had that problem until recently. Is that the site or my computer?

Austin reminds me of Randy Whitman alot! We can only hope that he might be able to develope into the kind of player Randy was! First goal for these guys should be a Big Ten championship. If they can get there within the next three years, I think a banner in the Hall might not be too far behind!

Zach, Alex, great job man. Really enjoyed this. I would have asked many of the same questions. Very excited to see Austin at IU.

Now, go get Cody on here immediately. Do it!

  • I’m not aware of any pop-up ads. Can you provide more details so we can look into this?

  • Yeah, that is correct. For whatever reason, we auto-ping iTunes, but it takes a few days to show up there. We’ll try to look into why this is happening.

  • The next time you see this, could you take a screengrab and email it to [email protected]?

Also, not that it should matter, but are you using Internet Explorer?

Love this offering. Austin is a class act!

Couple of suggestions (from a really picky person 🙂 :

    1) I found it difficult to hear Austin and Alex (and to some extent Zach). My speakers were all the way up. Is there a way to improve the volume?
    2) Would be great if you posted the length of the podcast so listeners know how much time they’ll need to commit.

    Keep it up, guys!

  • Something we’ll try to work on, but with all three of us in different locations, it’s difficult to gauge the volume sometimes. Thanks for the feedback.

Guessing he’s referring to the 1-question market research surveys that roll across the screen occasionally. IMO, not frequent enough to be intrusive at all.
