Anthony Leal will announce college decision on Friday, August 9

One of Indiana’s top recruiting targets in the class of 2020 is ready to end his recruitment.

Bloomington South guard Anthony Leal will announce his college decision on Friday, August 9 according to Tipton Edits on Twitter.

In a text to Inside the Hall, Leal confirmed that he will announce his decision on Friday. The announcement will come on Twitter and “probably” in the evening, according to Leal.

Leal is down to two finalists: Indiana and Stanford.

The 6-foot-5 guard took a junior year official visit to Stanford and has been on Indiana’s campus multiple times for unofficial visits.

Leal landed an Indiana scholarship offer in late April following the lone spring evaluation period. Leal’s close friend and AAU teammate, Trey Galloway, committed to the Hoosiers last month.
