IU basketball lands commitment from class of 2027 center Felix Kiehlneker

IU basketball has landed its second commitment in the class of 2027.

German center Felix Kiehlneker committed to the Hoosiers today, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com.

The 7-footer joins guard Chase Branham in IU’s 2027 recruiting class.

Kiehlneker announced that he had received an offer from IU a couple of weeks ago after a visit to campus. He reportedly chose the Hoosiers over USC.

He averaged four points and 4.3 rebounds for Germany in the FIBA U18 Eurobasket that took place from July 25 through August 2 in Trentino, Italy. He was the starting center for Germany in that event.

According to his FIBA Basketball profile, Kiehlneker turned 18 on February 23.
