IU basketball set for its second group-stage game at FISU America Games
IU basketball, representing the United States, will play its second and final group-stage game today at the FISU America Games in Lima, Peru.
Today’s opponent will be the United States Virgin Islands. Tipoff is scheduled for approximately 6 p.m. ET.
The Hoosiers won their opener against Peru on Tuesday in dominant fashion, 115-36.
IU is in group B with Peru and the United States Virgin Islands. On Wednesday, the Virgin Islands beat Peru, 93-73.
In Group A, which features four teams, Argentina is 2-0, Chile is 1-1, Brazil is 1-1 and Colombia is 0-2.
The semifinals will take place on Saturday, July 25, at 1 p.m. ET and 3 p.m. ET, with the third-place game on Monday, July 27, at 2 p.m. ET, and the final at 4 p.m. ET.
