IU basketball freshman guard Aleksa Ristic is entering the transfer portal
Indiana freshman guard Aleksa Ristic is entering the transfer portal.
The news was first reported by Dushawn London of 247Sports.
He is the fourth Hoosier to hit the portal this spring, joining Jasai Miles, Jason Drake and Josh Harris.
Ristic, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound guard from Nis, Serbia, appeared in 12 games in the 2025-26 season for the Hoosiers.
He averaged 0.5 points in 2.5 minutes per game and only attempted five shots all season.
A foot injury kept Ristic sidelined for the first seven games of the season and he made his IU debut in a road loss at Minnesota on December 3.
Ristic committed to Indiana last June as the 12th scholarship player for the first roster Darian DeVries assembled in Bloomington.
Before he arrived at IU, Ristic played for KK Dynamic in the KLS, Serbia’s top league, and for the Serbian U20 National team.
Ristic will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
