One statistic that stands out for every IU basketball player through 26 games
Just five games remain in the 2025-26 regular season and the Hoosiers are in the midst of a four-day break before returning to the floor on Friday against Purdue at Mackey Arena.
Here’s one statistic that stands out this season for every rotation player on the roster through 26 games:
Lamar Wilkerson
Statistic that stands out: 86 made 3-pointers
Wilkerson is already fourth in program history for 3-pointers made in a season behind Steve Alford (107 in 1986-87), James Blackmon Jr. (91 in 2016-17) and Yogi Ferrell (88 in 2013-14).
If he continues his current pace, Wilkerson be at 102 made 3-pointers at the end of the regular season. That would be good enough for second all-time, ahead of any postseason games. Wilkerson already set the program record for 3-pointers made in a game against Penn State with 10 on December 9.
Tucker DeVries
Statistic that stands out: 14 games with three or more made 3-pointers
While DeVries has been through ups and downs with his shooting this season, he’s still been productive overall from behind the 3-point line. He’s made at least three 3-pointers in more than half of IU’s games this season.
With 69 made 3-pointers this season, he’ll likely jump into the top seven, if not higher, for 3-pointers made in a season by an IU player.
Tayton Conerway
Statistic that stands out: 5.2 minutes per game over his last five games
Conerway, who injured his ankle in IU’s loss to Iowa on January 17, has played in five of IU’s last eight games. His minutes over that span have fallen drastically. Over those five contests, which include Michigan, Rutgers, USC, Oregon and Illinois, Conerway has logged a total of 26 minutes.
In IU’s two most recent games, the Oregon and Illinois contests, Conerway has played a total of eight minutes, scored one point and recorded one rebound and one assist.
Reed Bailey
Statistic that stands out: 12 games with three or fewer rebounds
It’s no secret that Bailey has struggled on the glass this season against the size and athleticism in the Big Ten. But despite averaging 19.3 minutes per game and playing center all season, he’s just third on the team in total rebounds and has pulled down three or fewer rebounds in nearly half of IU’s games.
Over IU’s last four games, Bailey has pulled down a total of four rebounds in 56 minutes.
Nick Dorn
Statistic that stands out: 88.5 percent of his field goal attempts have been 3-pointers
Dorn, who has come on in Big Ten play and is up to an average of 8.8 points per game, is operating almost exclusively on 3-pointers this season.
Of Dorn’s 149 field goal attempts, 132 have come from beyond the 3-point line. For the season, he’s shooting 38.6 percent on 3s and has been efficient on the limited 2-pointers he’s attempted at 64.7 percent.
Sam Alexis
Statistic that stands out: 75 percent on 2s in Big Ten play
Alexis has the best 2-point field goal percentage of any player in league play. He’s 51-for-68 on 2s, which is a league-leading 75 percent.
Overall on the season, Alexis is 84-for-115 on 2s, good for 73 percent. That ranks 13th in the country.
Conor Enright
Statistic that stands out: 13 games with five or more assists
While Enright might be limited as a scorer, his ability to run the team from the point guard position has translated to the Big Ten. He has dished out five or more assists in half of IU’s 26 games.
His 4.8 assists per game lead the Hoosiers and he ranks ninth in the league in assist rate at 28 percent.
Trent Sisley
Statistic that stands out: 7.4 minutes per game over IU’s last nine games
Sisley, who is shooting just 38.9 percent on 2s and 22.7 percent on 3s in conference play, has fallen to the fringe of the rotation since the Iowa game on January 17.
Over the last nine games, he’s logged double figures just twice and he’s played four or fewer minutes in four of those nine contests.
Jasai Miles
Statistic that stands out: 7 fouls per 40 minutes in Big Ten play
There’s been a noticeable uptick in minutes for Miles since the Rutgers game on January 23. Over IU’s last seven games, he’s averaging 12.3 minutes per contest.
Miles, however, has struggled to defend without fouling. In Big Ten play, he’s averaging seven fouls per 40 minutes and he fouled out of the UCLA game in just nine minutes.
