Big Ten releases IU football schedule for 2026 season

ATLANTA – Check out 81 photos by Jamie Owens from Indiana's 56-22 win against Oregon in the CFP semifinal at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The complete schedule for the 2026 IU football season was released Tuesday evening by the Big Ten.

IU’s non-conference opponents and dates were already known, as were its conference opponents without dates.

Now the full slate is available as the Hoosiers begin the season next fall as the reigning Big Ten and national champions:

Saturday, September 12 – Howard
Saturday, September 19 – Western Kentucky
Saturday, September 26 – Northwestern
Saturday, October 3 – at Rutgers
Saturday, October 10 – at Nebraska
Saturday, October 17 – Ohio State
Saturday, October 24 – at Michigan
Saturday, October 31 – Minnesota
Saturday, November 14 – USC
Saturday, November 21 – at Washington
Saturday, November 28 – Purdue
