Four-star forward Trevor Manhertz to announce college decision on Wednesday, January 28
IU basketball could be in line to receive its fourth commitment from a high school player in the Darian DeVries era on Wednesday.
Trevor Manhertz, a 6-foot-8 wing, will announce is college decision on Wednesday, January 28 at 1 p.m. ET.
Currently a member of the 2027 class, Manhertz is expected to return to his original class, 2026 and enroll this summer at the school he chooses.
Manhertz, a lefty, attends the Christ School in Cary, North Carolina, and played for Garner Road on the adidas 3SSB circuit.
The four-star forward is considering Duke, Indiana and Louisville.
He is ranked the No. 52 player nationally in the class of 2027 by the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The Hoosiers currently have two commitments in the 2026 class in Prince-Alexander Moody and Vaughn Karvala. IU also holds a commitment from class of 2027 point guard Chase Branham.
