IU basketball will host Marian University for an exhibition on Friday, October 17, the program announced Thursday afternoon.

Tipoff time and TV designations for the exhibition will be announced at a later date.

Marian is based in Indianapolis and is an NAIA program coached by former IU guard Pat Knight. Former IU great Steve Downing serves as the school’s athletic director.

The Hoosiers – with 13 new scholarship players under new coach Darian DeVries – are expected to play another exhibition game this fall, with details still to come on a date and an opponent.

With the announcement of the Marian exhibition, here are the confirmed dates for IU’s non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 season:

Saturday, November 29: vs. Bethune-Cookman
Saturday, December 6: vs. Louisville at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis

Monday, December 22: vs. Siena
