Video: Summer highlights of class of 2027 IU basketball recruiting target Ryan Hampton

One of the top juniors in the country, Ryan Hampton received a scholarship offer from Indiana on May 12.

Hampton, who plays at Dynamic Prep in Texas, and for Drive Nation in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), is the No. 6 player nationally in his class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings after a strong summer. He is the younger brother of R.J. Hampton, the No. 24 pick in the 2020 NBA draft.

In addition to the IU offer, the 6-foot-6 wing has offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Cincinnati, Kansas, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Memphis, Nebraska, NC State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Rutgers, SMU, TCU, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Villanova and Virginia Tech.
