Class of 2026 five-star wing Anthony Thompson to take IU basketball official visit in September

IU basketball will welcome one of the top players in the 2026 class to campus in September for an official visit.

Five-star wing Anthony Thompson, who is considering Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, Purdue and Texas, will be in Bloomington on September 12 for his official visit.

According to Joe Tipton, Thompson has set the following official visit schedule:

North Carolina: August 22
Ohio State: August 29
Michigan September 5
Indiana: September 12
Texas: September 19
Kentucky: September 24

Thompson is the No. 8 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He plays at Western Reserve Academy in Ohio and played for Indiana Elite on the adidas 3SSB circuit over the spring and summer.
