Class of 2026 IU basketball target Sammy Jackson announces finalists, sets commitment date
Class of 2026 Indiana recruiting target Sammy Jackson is down to four schools.
The 6-foot-7, 185-pound wing is considering Indiana, St. Joe’s, VCU and Texas. According to Joe Tipton of On3.com, Jackson plans to announce his college decision on Wednesday, June 25.
Jackson plans to visit all four of his finalists in June before making his decision. His visit to Indiana is scheduled for June 13-14.
Indiana offered Jackson a scholarship on May 10. The talented wing player attends Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia and plays for Team Final in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL).
As a junior at Roman Catholic, Jackson earned second-team All-state honors in Class 6A. He averaged 13.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals and made 51 3-pointers. He helped his team advance to the PIAA 6A championship game.
Jackson is considered a four-star prospect and is ranked the No. 94 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
