IU basketball junior guard Jasai Miles plans to enter the transfer portal
Indiana junior guard Jasai Miles plans to enter the transfer portal when it opens on Tuesday, April 7.
The news of Miles’s intention to enter the portal was first reported by Travis Branham.
He is the second IU player to declare his intent to enter the portal, joining guard Jason Drake.
Miles, a 6-foot-6, 210-pound guard from Miami, Florida, played in 26 games in the 2025-26 season for the Hoosiers.
He averaged 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.5 minutes per game. Miles shot 34.1 percent from the field, 50 percent from the free-throw line and 24 percent on 3-pointers.
Miles committed to the Hoosiers on April 21 as a transfer from North Florida University. He was the fifth player to join the program from the transfer portal and was viewed as a potential starter at the time of his signing.
At North Florida, Miles averaged 15.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 31.6 minutes per game as a sophomore for the Ospreys.
In his freshman season, he started 19 times and averaged 5.7 points and 4.2 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per game.
Miles will have one season of eligibility remaining.
