2026-27 IU basketball roster tracker: Hoosiers have seven players eligible to return
Season one of the Darian DeVries is over and the roster for the 2026-27 season should begin to take shape soon.
The Hoosiers finished the 2025-26 season 18-14 overall and 9-11 in the Big Ten. It was the third consecutive year that IU basketball has missed the NCAA tournament.
The transfer portal will officially open on Tuesday, April 6, but players from across the country have already announced their intentions to enter it.
As of early Monday afternoon, no IU basketball players with eligibility remaining for next season have announced their intent to enter the portal.
Throughout the spring, we’ll track Indiana’s 2026-27 roster until it is complete. Here’s our first version of the 2026-27 IU basketball roster tracker:
Out of eligibility
Six IU players from the 2025-26 season are out of eligibility and will not return next season.
Tucker DeVries, Lamar Wilkerson, Tayton Conerway, Conor Enright, Reed Bailey and Sam Alexis were six of IU’s top seven scorers from last season and will not be on IU’s roster next season.
In the transfer portal
As of early Monday afternoon on March 23, no players with remaining eligibility for the 2026-27 season have announced their intention to enter the transfer portal.
However, roster attrition is expected for next season and it won’t be a surprise if multiple players depart the program in the offseason.
Eligible to return
Seven players on Indiana’s 2025-26 roster have eligibility remaining beyond this season. Only three of those seven players played regularly for the Hoosiers this season and a fourth only played sparingly.
Here’s a quick rundown of the seven:
Nick Dorn: A starter most of the second half of the season, Dorn has one season of eligibility remaining after playing two seasons at Elon and one at Indiana.
Jasai Miles: A fringe part of IU’s rotation, Miles has one season of eligibility remaining after playing two seasons at North Florida and one at Indiana.
Jason Drake: The Michigan native never played this season for the Hoosiers and has two seasons of eligibility remaining. He previously played at Drexel, Cleveland State and in the junior college ranks at Butler Community College.
Josh Harris: The Florida native did not play this season at IU after suiting up as a freshman last season at North Florida. Harris has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
Trent Sisley: The Montverde Academy and Heritage Hills product showed flashes of potential as a freshman and has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
Aleska Ristic: The Serbian guard played sparingly for the Hoosiers this season and has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
Andrej Acimovic: The Bosnian center redshirted the 2025-26 season and has four seasons of eligibility remaining.
Roster additions from high school
Indiana currently has three freshmen slated to join the 2026-27 roster.
The Hoosiers signed guard Prince-Alexander Moody and wing Vaughn Karvala last fall and landed a commitment from wing Trevor Manhertz in late January.
IU’s 2026 recruiting class is currently ranked among the top 20 classes nationally.
Roster additions from the transfer portal
Indiana has yet to add a player from the portal. Thus far, the only players eligible to enter the portal are from programs that have undergone coaching changes.
The portal officially opens on Tuesday, April 7 and will be open for 15 days. Campus visits will not begin until Friday, April 10.
