IU football lands commitment from Cincinnati transfer defensive back Jiquan Sanks
Cincinnati transfer defensive back Jiquan Sanks is the latest player to commit to IU football out of the transfer portal, according to multiple reports.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound safety is originally from Columbus, Georgia.
Sanks played in 24 games for the Bearcats, recording 92 tackles, forcing two fumbles with two fumble recoveries.
In the 2025 season, he played 12 games for Cincinnati and recorded 50 tackles across seven starts.
Sanks has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
He is the fifth portal commitment today for the Hoosiers, joining Wisconsin safety Preston Zachman, star Michigan State receiver Nick Marsh, Kansas State edge Tobi Osunsanmi and TCU quarterback Josh Hoover.
