IU football ranked No. 20 in preseason Associated Press top 25 poll
The preseason Associated Press top 25 college football poll was released Monday and Indiana is ranked No. 20.
The Hoosiers finished last season 11-2 under Curt Cignetti and reached the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history.
Indiana finished No. 10 in the final AP top 25 poll last season.
Penn State is the highest-ranked Big Ten team in the preseason at No. 2, followed by Ohio State at No. 3, Oregon at No. 7, Illinois at No. 12 and Michigan at No. 14. The Hoosiers play Penn State and Oregon on the road and Illinois at home.
Nebraska and Iowa both received votes.
The Hoosiers open the 2025 season against Old Dominion at Memorial Stadium at 2:30 p.m. ET on August 30.
