IU basketball among six finalists for class of 2026 center Davion Adkins
Class of 2026 center Davion Adkins is down to six schools and Indiana is among his finalists.
Adkins is also considering Auburn, Houston, Kansas, Rutgers and UCLA. According to Joe Tipton, he has set an official visit to Indiana for the weekend of September 13. It will be his first official visit.
The 6-foot-9 big man transferred to Prolific Prep, which is moving from California to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for his senior season after previously attending Faith Family Academy of Oak Cliff in Dallas, Texas.
Adkins was a standout for Southern Assault this spring and summer on the adidas 3SSB circuit.
He is rated as the No. 37 player nationally in the rising senior class by the 247Sports Composite rankings and the No. 2 center.
Indiana currently has one player committed in the class of 2026: guard Prince-Alexander Moody.
