IU basketball among finalists for class of 2026 forward Latrell Allmond
Class of 2026 forward Latrell Allmond is down to nine schools and Indiana is among his finalists.
The 6-foot-8 standout plays at Petersburg High School in Richmond, Virginia, and played for Team Loaded this spring and summer on the adidas 3SSB circuit.
Allmond is still considering Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Tennessee and Virginia.
He took an official visit to Indiana last month and plans on announcing his college decision on his birthday, October 13.
Allmond is rated as the No. 30 player nationally in the rising senior class by the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s the No. 6 power forward in the country and the No. 2 prospect in Virginia.
Indiana currently has one player committed in the class of 2026: guard Prince-Alexander Moody.
