It appears Luke Goode’s time in an IU uniform has come to an end.

On Tuesday, Goode posted a farewell message on his Instagram account along with a video and several photos.

“4 years later. Thank you God for the journey through highs and lows. Can’t wait for what’s next! Isaiah 41:10,” the message said.

Goode had requested a medical hardship waiver for an additional season of eligibility, but it appears that his career in Bloomington is over.

IU Athletics has not issued any public comment on Goode’s status for next season.

The Fort Wayne native had been working out this offseason with the 2025-26 IU team in Bloomington.

In 108 career games between Illinois and Indiana, Goode averaged 5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per game.

The 2024-25 season was his most productive statistically, as he started 16 of the 32 games he played for the Hoosiers, averaging 9.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in 26.7 minutes per game.

Goode was a career 39 percent 3-point shooter and shot 147-for-377 on 3s.

Update: Zach Osterman of The Indianapolis Star confirmed that Goode’s waiver for a fifth season of eligibility was denied.
