Malachi Jordan is the latest class of 2027 prospect to receive a scholarship offer from the IU basketball coaching staff.

Jordan is a 6-foot-5, 180-pound wing who plays at Christian Community School in Tennessee and for MOKAN Elite on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit.

His list of scholarship offers includes Arizona State, Indiana, Memphis, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt, according to 247Sports.

Jordan is considered a five-star prospect and the No. 17 player nationally in the rising junior class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Here is what Travis Branham of 247Sports wrote about Jordan last fall at the USA Basketball Mini-Camp:

“Malachi Jordan is a well-known 2027 forward and on Sunday, he brought out his best. The 6-foot-6 prospect was valuable in his utility as a rebounder and defender but he also showed some ability to go get his own bucket.

“He played hard on both ends of the court, finished strong at the rim and showed some flashes of potential as a shooter in time.

“Jordan was a big contributor to his team winning the younger age group’s championship and had an authoritative alley-oop finish in the game against the older championship team.”
