Former IU basketball coaches secure positions at new programs
Indiana has yet to formally announce its coaching staff for the 2025-26 season, but most of the hires have been reported.
Drew Adams, Kenny Johnson, Rod Clark, Nick Norton and Mike Bargen will join Darian DeVries on the bench.
The former IU staff, led by Mike Woodson, has secured positions at new programs. Here’s a look at where several members of last year’s staff will work next year:
Woodson
Woodson will be the associate head coach for the Sacramento Kings under Doug Christie, according to Shams Charania.
He spent four seasons at Indiana and led the Hoosiers to two NCAA tournament appearances.
Kenya Hunter
Hunter joined the IU program under Archie Miller and stayed on under Woodson for the last four seasons.
After serving as associate head coach under Woodson, Hunter will now work as an assistant coach for Sean Miller at Texas. Miller left Xavier to lead the Longhorns.
