How to watch: 2024 Hoosier Hysteria streaming details

Hoosier Hysteria will unofficially tip off the 2024-25 Indiana men’s and women’s basketball season this Friday night in Bloomington at Assembly Hall.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. ET and will feature player and coach introductions, various skills competitions and a scrimmage.

If you are unable to make it to Bloomington, BTN will provide coverage via its paid streaming service, B1G+.

The B1G+ schedule for Friday shows a 7:30 p.m. ET broadcast start for Hoosier Hysteria. B1G+ is not included with a cable or satellite subscription to BTN.

The stream will be accessible via a B1G+ subscription, which is offered in a monthly or annual package.

The monthly pass is $12.99 plus tax, and the annual pass is $89.99 plus tax. B1G+ no longer offers sport-specific or school-specific subscription packages.

Via the B1G+ FAQs: “Effective July 1, 2024, the B1G+ Sports Pass and School Pass, both monthly and annual, will no longer be available for purchase or renewal. We are consolidating our subscription options to enhance access to a broader range of non-televised events across the Big Ten Conference, providing greater value to our subscribers. For the first time since the launch of B1G+ in 2014 (formerly BTN Plus), we will be consolidating our subscription offerings from 42 to 2, exclusively offering a B1G+ Annual or Monthly subscription.”

In addition to Hoosier Hysteria, Indiana men’s basketball will have one exhibition and one regular-season game on B1G+. The Hoosiers will host Marian University on Friday, November 1 and Eastern Illinois on Sunday, November 10 on the streaming service.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. ET with free admission. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to Hoosier Hills Food Bank. This is traditionally one of the organization’s most successful donation events of the year, bringing in as much as 12,000 pounds of food to support those in need in Monroe, Brown, Lawrence, Orange, Owen, and Martin counties.

The event will begin with the Homecoming Parade at 5:30 p.m. ET down Woodlawn Avenue between 13th and 17th Streets. Parade goers and Hoosier Hysteria fans should park in any lots surrounding Memorial Stadium and Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The parade will conclude with a fireworks show over Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Hoosier Hysteria will officially begin with player and coach introductions from both the men’s and women’s teams at 7:30 p.m. ET Head coaches Mike Woodson and Teri Moren will address the crowd after special performances from the IU Cheerleaders and RedSteppers. Finally, players from both squads will participate in various skills competitions to be followed by a scrimmage. Indiana alum Tricia Whitaker will emcee the event.
