Class of 2024 five-star guard Boogie Fland to announce college choice on Friday, October 20

Class of 2024 five-star recruit Boogie Fland has a date for his college announcement.

Fland, the No. 20 player nationally in the senior class, will announce his college choice on Friday, October 20.

The decision is expected to come at 2 p.m. ET at Fland’s high school, Archbishop Stepinac in New York.

He will choose between Alabama, Indiana and Kentucky. Fland took official visits to all three schools. His original list of schools also included Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, St. John’s and UConn.

As a junior, Fland averaged 18.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and two steals per game. He averaged 14.4 points, five rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals as a sophomore.

If Indiana were to land Fland, he would become the second recruit in the program’s 2024 recruiting class.

The Hoosiers already have a commitment from five-star wing Liam McNeeley.
