IU players react to abrupt ending of 2019-20 season
At 20-12, Indiana was a virtual lock to return to the NCAA tournament for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
It would have been a fitting end for seniors De’Ron Davis and Devonte Green, who stuck with the program through a coaching change and in the case of Davis, a couple of significant injuries.
But Thursday’s news that remaining winter sports and all spring sports are officially canceled brought a shocking ending collegiate athletes around the country.
Several Indiana players responded Thursday via Instagram and Twitter to the abrupt ending to the season and in the case of Davis and Green, the end of their IU careers.
