Hoosiers climb to No. 12 in coaches’ poll
After knocking off Illinois and Ohio State on the road, Indiana climbed one spot to No. 12 in the latest ESPN/USA Today coaches’ poll.
IU’s next three opponents are all among the Top 25: Michigan State is No. 9, Wisconsin is No. 14 and Purdue is No. 23.
The top five teams are Memphis, Duke, Kansas, Tennessee and North Carolina.
The Big Ten also honored Robbie Hummel of Purdue with Player of the Week honors after his 21 points helped the Boilermakers knock off then No. 8 Wisconsin in Madison. The win gave Purdue sole possession of first place in the conference.
