Crawfordsville’s D.J. Byrd headed to Purdue
Thursday, September 6th, 2007D.J. Byrd, a 6′4″ wing from the class of 2009, has given a verbal pledge to play for Matt Painter and the Purdue Boilermakers. Byrd, who will be a junior at North Montgomery in Crawfordsville, chose Purdue over Indiana, Notre Dame, Xavier and Butler.

Elston, Plumlee surface in Rivals Top 100 for 2009

Previously the Rivals network, which was recently acquired by Yahoo, had only ranked the Top 75 for 2009 and neither Derek Elston or Mason Plumlee (pictured) made that initial list.
