Recruit Profile: Trey Lyles

  • Height: 6-9
  • Weight: 205
  • Class: 2014
  • Position: Power Forward
  • High School: Indianapolis Arsenal Tech
  • AAU team: Spiece Indy Heat
  • Date of commitment: September 26, 2010
  • Scouting Notes: Lyles is a skilled power forward who contributes in every area of the game. He’s a great passer out of the low post, is a great scorer with his back to the basket, and can shoot the ball effectively out to the 3-point line. Also, Lyles can handle the ball like a guard and often brings the ball up the court for his Tech team. Lyles isn’t an outstanding leaper, but has great timing and soft hands, making him an excellent rebounder down low. As he gets stronger and matures, Lyles’ game will continue to improve. – Joe Eberhardt, Indy HS Hoops

I have only one concern about this kid…he might be ONE AND DONE!

  • IULaw79

Very impressed by how much more physically mature he looks in the article posted today compared to these videos from last season.  Definetly has been hitting the weight room.
