After Taylor’s score, Johnson stepped out of bounds on the baseline and gave possession back to the Cornhuskers. Watson Jr. passes the ball to Isaiah Roby:
Isaac Copeland cuts to the other side of the court as Roby dribbles left to fill his space:
Johnson plays the passing lane tight to deny Palmer Jr. the ball:
But with the rest of Nebraska’s offense cleared out to the weak side to give him room at the bucket, Palmer Jr. back cuts on Johnson and Roby makes the pass:
It’s a dunk for Palmer Jr. to put Nebraska up nine and it’s here the Huskers started to put the game away for good:
Stephen Bardo on the call: “That’s a set play that time, knowing that Indiana was gonna deny Palmer the basketball. They cleared out the backside and let him go to rim.”
