As Justin Smith passes to Johnson, Davis sets a screen for Devonte Green near the left wing:

Davis pops up top to get the ball as Green comes around another screen from Durham Jr.:

There’s now a third screen for Green, this time from Johnson:

Davis makes the handoff to Green at the top of the key and with the defense keying on Green, he has space to the paint:

Green has both defenders near as Davis cuts to the left high post:

Green threads a nifty pass and Davis has daylight to the rim:

Bucket:

Nice set from the Hoosiers here to free Green into some pick-and-roll action with Davis:

Nice film session as usual. But I think you missed the most important play of all…the towel toss! Lol

Great job, Ryan. On the 3rd sequence you highlighted, you mentioned that Smith’s dunk was a result, in part, to the defense focusing on Davis. A great aspect of that play is that despite never receiving the ball in the post, Davis remain active with screens and cuts, eventually freeing up a pass from Durham to Smith. In years past, I’ve noticed our big men show frustration when a guard was unable to feed the post. However the amount of screens and cuts that Davis is doing now allows him an opportunity to stay involved without the ball and not allow them to just block off the paint. Just my observation.

Great job as usual, Ryan. You actually picked some of my favorite plays from that game!
