Following a trip to Indianapolis to workout for the Pacers, former Indiana guard James Blackmon Jr. finished his pre-NBA draft workouts with a trip to Philadelphia. Blackmon Jr. has been working out with former Indiana graduate assistant James Fraschilla, who published an extended look at a recent pre-draft workout with Blackmon Jr. on Tuesday:

And former Indiana forward OG Anunoby, a potential lottery pick on Thursday, recently went through his agency pro day and talked to DraftExpress.com afterward:

JBJ is absolutely a monster he was a solid non-wavering Hoosier for three years. He got his degree and now he wants to pursue his NBA career and I really want this for him!

  • HoosierOne

JBJ is the man….he battled injuries and was still able to come out there and put up serious numbers. I know some people harp on his defense, but he was the biggest scoring threat we’ve had in awhile. If he stays healthy I think he’ll settle in nicely in the NBA.

OG must still be feeling the injury. Hopefully he recovers to full health soon. I know it’s spot shooting but he looked like he was moving gingerly and wasn’t elevating much. I though he would have been well served to come back to IU and get to full strength while working to some kinks. Good on him though for going after the paycheck this day and age though.

Could we still be friends if I changed my screen name to MarshallJCM800 or FenderDeluxeReverb?

  • VOXAC30

OG probably should have came back but risking injury again is not worth it. Seems it was kept under wraps but I thought he was injured when we beat UK two years ago. Then the knee injury pushed him over the edge… But this is just a hack view!

  • VOXAC30

WOW! FenderDeluxeReverb one of the best amps ever made JCM800 is legendary! New BFF!

  • Koko

    “Sounds” good.

Technically JBJ has yet to obtain his degree. He still has some online coursework to complete.

  • Hoosier Hall

I remember him rolling his ankle very weirdly in that game. Looked really bad but I guess he was OK. No way to know for sure.

how fun would it be to be able to shoot like that! i need to find footage of the lottery pick workouts just to have a comparison. who are considered the top shooters in the draft?

  • The Lights Go Down

AC 30, huh? Queen fan, I assume?

  • Sarasota Hoosier

I could see a good team like Golden State, San Antonio, Boston or hey even the Pacers taking JB. Getting drafted is not completely out of the question.

I use a Fender Super. Looks tiny on stage next to the other guys’ Orange and Marshall, but it sounds good and when they’re all micced up it doesn’t make a difference.

Sweet. I’m strictly an amateur, but an enthusiastic one. Love to play — even if not very well — and love to shape tones. Thinking about stepping up to the big time and getting a Carr Mercrury V. A shameless indulgence, but in the spirit of “you can’t take it with you”, I may just do it. That and a couple of classic pedals could make for some good fun.

  • VOXAC30

Definitely Brian May and Bono, but most for that chimey vox sounds. Then I use pedals to get different tones.

  • VOXAC30

    Same here but love it!

Among SG’s, Luke Kennard is the one really elite shooter. Malik Monk is also pretty good from deep.
