FORT WORTH, Texas – Five-star class of 2018 New Albany guard Romeo Langford averaged 24.7 points this weekend for Twenty Two Vision in the first adidas Gauntlet session of the spring at GameOn Sports.

Langford was watched all weekend by the Indiana coaching staff as Archie Miller was in attendance for his games on Friday and Saturday and assistant coach Ed Schilling watched him on Sunday.

Here’s more than two minutes of highlights from Langford’s play this weekend:

Man he’s got some sweet moves. Not afraid to drive inside and his mid-range/long-range mechanics look so smooth. I can see why he’s near the top of his class. Love that we had coaches there all weekend. Wonder who Carch went to see on Sunday???

He is very Calbert Chaney like; smooth, great shooter, and knows the game. He could end up being the Big Ten’s leading scorer even if he only stays three years. Let’s make him a Hoosier.

If that kid stays 3 years anywhere its because he’s had injuries):!

    I must agree SC!!!

Yeah, smooth, a good shot, can play through contact, and has the same kind of deceptive speed that Calbert had (a really quick first step).

My greatest plus is that I really like that he looks to play defense right away.

My biggest question is if he can get into trouble in the B1G dribbling into a crowd like that. Likely to get swatted a few times until he learns to adapt. Maybe using his floater a bit more.

Agree that he plays very smoothly. Even though this was top level competition, it seemed like he was levels above.

Makes everything look so easy. Mr. Smooth

Yeah he’s not staying 3 years anywhere. Likely one and done, 2 at the most.
