Interesting game between 2 underperforming teams. According to most of the posts I see, Thad Motta is also an idiot who doesn’t know squat and needs to be replaced. Some teams simply have players with their own agenda who prefer scoring to working their asses off playing defense. It can all be summed up with one saying, “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink”. Fortunately, the Hoosiers were a bit thirsty today. But, blaming really good coaches for players continued bad decisions and refusal to make the defensive effort is absurd. You negative people make me sick and aren’t really true I.U. fans. Real fans are always supportive thru the good AND bad!

    Amen well said

Glad you made it clear what a real IU fan is. With that said, we must have the smallest percentage of true fans in the country.

So it never has anything to do with the coach? Does your brain allow you to think for yourself or do you always just toe the company line? SMH.

Great post. The players are primarily responsible for this season’s performance. Perfect

CTC seems really checked out here.

I know some people are rooting against the team, so maybe he is talking about those people.

I hope he wins a title some day.

Real fans are always passionate, not necessarily supportive of all that’s going on around a program. But I agree a fan who is never supportive is not a true fan.

I agree, I’ve thought that quite a bit recently. I think him giving the coaching staff the credit indicates he’s been holding them to account a bit more. Rob Judson certainly seems to be taking a more active role on the bench.

CT recruited these players, he’s recruited every player for 9 years. His teams never play fundamental basketball, never improve thru the course of the season. He is a terrible coach. Enough with the excuses! Don’t tell me what a true fan is, when I see bs play I, as a fan, since I was 4 have right to call it out.

A true IU fan can see problems. Yes…I always root for this team…but any simple basketball person can tell it is time for a change with leadership at the top. It is time Crean to go. I give him thanks for all he has done but this program is paying elite salary for mediocrity. It time to move on an get an elite Coach to match the pay that is being provided.

Blaming the players is like blaming the Actors in a M Night Shamalan film. Different day same crap
