  • Awesome that you guys did this today and got this up so quickly. Going to listen now, in the hour before the football game.

My first thoughts on this practice: OG was the best player on the floor. Robert Johnson was 2nd. Freshmen didn’t stand out and it seemed like the team was pretty well together, and they only need to polish and sharpen things up, and speed it up. Glad I watched.

Lucky! I was out buying diabetes on a platter at the covered bridges festivals and my dumb*** forgot to DVR it. I’m salty lol

  • I’d bet you can probably get it through BTN online somehow, if you can watch it on tv (i.e., if you have cable/satelite).

    diabetes on a platter, ha.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll have to check into it

  • On the podcast: my 2 cents on Bryant’s nickname, which you suggested “The President.”

I think I have a better one: “The Governor.” (or “Gov”)

Let me explain: If Thomas actually wanted to run for high office, he will most likely be most loved in the state of Indiana. It’s highest office is the governorship (arguably the 2 Senators, but not really). This is actually quite feasible for the young man. All he has to do is forgo professional basketball for a few more years, using all of his eligibility at IU, and delivering 3 NCAA championships…thus becoming the greatest Indiana player of all time and a living legend. Governor’s mansion is all but guaranteed after making his fortune in the NBA. The Governor!

    And not ready to play..

  • John D Murphy

I thought JM was. He was sharp, quick, and low with his dribble. I also loved when DD rejected TB. Competition between those two is gold. I also found Zach McRoberts interesting. I think he might see some extended floor time. Bonus, especially early in the season when we have injuries and the frosh may not be ready. I think it all comes back to JBJ’s D (which I know is a point of much debate). We are DEEP.

Really glad they did this. It was a nice pre-season treat.
