Not only will Indiana play in Madison Square Garden for the 2018 Big Ten tournament, the Hoosiers will make a stop at the “World’s Most Famous Arena” in November of 2017.

According to a report by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Indiana will play in the 2K Sports Classic in 2017 along with Providence, Virginia Tech and Washington.

It will be the first trip to New York for Indiana since December of 2014, when the Hoosiers played Louisville in the Jimmy V Classic.

Indiana also played at MSG in November of 2013 in the 2K Sports Classic against Washington and UConn.

This season’s 2K Sports Classic will be held on Nov. 17 and 18 at Madison Square Garden. The bracket features Pittsburgh, SMU, Michigan and Marquette.

The 2K Sports Classic typically features a pair of regional games on campus before moving to MSG for the championship rounds.

Other known non-conference foes for Indiana for the 2017-2018 season are Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center on Dec. 9 and Notre Dame in the Crossroads Classic on Dec. 16.
