· The play of Thomas Bryant and how rare it is for a freshman to shoot this well on 2s
· Whether Yogi Ferrell was a snub for the Wooden Award midseason top 25
· John’s thoughts on Troy Williams and how to determine if the good outweighs the bad for a particular player
· Why Indiana should be excited going into March with a wide open NCAA tournament field

Nice work. Explanation of the true cost of TO’s for a high powered offense like IU is very revealing.

  • IU Hoosiers # 34, 1979-83

Watching the IA vs MD game. Both teams are really ,really good. I am glad for both coaches because they are class acts. Both of them.

Much better than the arrogant UW coach and his cast of over achievers. Yes I can believe the foul ratio but what I can’t believe is how much a d-bag hayes is. Getting ready to start the game on my DVR so I can whiz thru the inane commericals.

The biggest horses a $$ to coach football was Barry at Wisconsin. Of course now he is ad. I hope they keep Gard. He won’t amount to anything.

  • Ms hoosier

I lost all respect for Hayes after what he did after the game last nite!! I thought he was a classy bball player but the “Jerk” come out in him after the game!!!

  • IU Hoosiers # 34, 1979-83

Was it really that bad. I missed it.

  • IU Hoosiers # 34, 1979-83

WI has nothing to brag about. Can’t wait until we play them in the Big Tourney.

  • vicbert caladipo

With a capital J….always makes me wonder what kind of person has that much disrespect for a team you’ve owned. Indiana players always seem to be a notch above their opponents in terms of class. Nigel Hayes=No class

Talk about making a man feel inferior look at the website below of the wags of the NFL.

Hey #34….are you paying attention to this UHL kid from Iowa? He reminds me of OG, but dare I say better…both 6-8…thin…..not highly recruited, 6th man, cool hair. Looks like either Uhl has better skills than OG, or just more confidence being a year older, or used better by his coach. Just in the first half I saw 2 ISO’s where he went all the way to the rim on his own. This just makes me hope CTC could have that same confidence in OG. It’s been told OG is kind of a humble reserved kid, but let him loose for one game and see how it goes. We let Troy let loose every game. Time to see what we have in this freshman. Maybe I’m wrong and this UHL kid is just more talented and better, and he wasn’t ranked high cuz he’s from Germany.

Watching the game. We can beat both teams but OG has to be a starter and playing aggressively. If you go through remaining match-ups we look pretty good. C’mon TC; let the kid loose.

  • vicbert caladipo

    LET HIM LOOSE

  • ForeverIU

I’m also happy one of them has to lose tonight. Looks like Iowa.

  • BL

There is absolutely no doubt. Kid is special.

Watched the PU game last night. Minnesota is looking better. We better strap it on and not look past them.

  • IU Hoosiers # 34, 1979-83

    Great one and agreed.

  • IU Hoosiers # 34, 1979-83

Take care gentlemen. Have a good one.

  • Bankshot

Hoosiers have played there way into the top 5 in the big10. We’ll see where they go from there in the next few weeks. If they play to their capabilities they can get to #1. The big 10 is intense in feb. and will be fun to watch and see how the hoosiers fare! Yogi da man!

  • totally missed that. what exactly happened?

  • I didn’t catch that. What happened?

  • Born&Bred2BleedHoosierCrimson

He was going through the hand shake line saying, “nobody on your team can guard me.”

  • Bankshot

    3 rose bowl victories

  • Koko

Yes the B1G does get intense during the second half and I think that intensity started last night in Maryland.

  • IU Hoosiers # 34, 1979-83

True. You got me on that one!

  • vicbert caladipo

and called someone spike lee….and in his presser said the same thing that born and bred said…no one’s as good as me…I can score on anyone…yall can’t guard me….funny…he never mentioned all the hooks he used and all the blow on me fouls called

  • wow, that’s surprising. I was completely unaware that he was such a douschnozzle. He’s actually been somewhat of a disappointment this year, in my opinion. Looks like he’s really just dealing with personal insecurity issues, especially considering that IU’s FRESHMEN certainly proved their ability to not only guard him, but shut him down. Without the aid of refs, he wouldn’t have even had double digits.

  • vicbert caladipo

I agree with everything you said. Pretty sad fella popping his collar over finding a penny.

  • Bankshot

was not trying to GET YOU. BA is pretty arrogant but when he went to UW there football and basketball programs were awful.
